Stroll, shop, dine and browse this historic St. Johns River neighborhood

Jacksonville's Riverside neighborhood, and in particular, the Five Points shopping and dining district, acts like a powerful magnet to draw visitors, hipsters and locals alike to its historic charm and quirky, eclectic vibe. You'll find plenty to see and do in this popular area anchored at both ends by lovely parks (Memorial and Riverside).

EAT

Head to Black Sheep’s rooftop bar for farm-fresh local fare and drinks. Local is also key at Crane Ramen, where ingredients come from sites no further than 100 miles from the restaurant. The Bread & Board delights with both sandwiches and fine dining.

SHOP

Man’s best friend will be a better bestie after some time at Bark on Park, an urban dog boutique/spa. Afterwards, treat yourself to some gourmet baked goods (and a cake for home) at Motion Sweets. Those who love antiques won’t be able to get enough of 5 Points Vintage.

DRINK

With six rotating taps and 200-plus bottles, discover eclectic choices at Alewife. A rooftop bar and craft cocktails are stunners at River & Post. And 12 taps can be had on the patio at newcomer Marah Brewing.

PLAY

The Cummer Museum has a collection of works that dates back to 2000 B.C. and through the 21st century. The Italian gardens are also something to marvel at. A six-acre park that skirts the St. Johns River at one of its widest points, enjoy a quiet respite at Memorial Park, walking distance to all the aforementioned.
