Cheers! Indianapolis Exhibit Chronicles Prohibition's Rise and Fall

Indiana State Museum hosts "American Spirits"

See ya, Prohibition! And cheers to beer!

The celebratory scene pictured—one of countless across the nation following the repeal of Prohibition in 1933—is just one of the artifacts in the fascinating and comprehensive exhibit "American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition," on view this fall and winter (until February 2015) at the Indiana State Museum. You can even have your mug shot taken in a lineup of infamous bootleggers and racketeers if you need a new Facebook profile picture to get your friends talking. Admission is $3 in addition to regular museum entry.
