Space Center Houston is the official visitor center of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, which has served as a hub for astronaut training and shuttle programs long before the first man walked on the moon. Check out the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility, the Mission Control Center and even its historic counterpart, where the phrase “Houston, the Eagle has landed” was first heard in 1969 as Neil Armstrong touched down on the moon’s surface. Don't forget to visit Independence Plaza, one of the center's newest attractions.
