Horseback Riding in Koko Crater

Scottish visitors Natalie Feeney and Rhona Coutts wanted to see Oahu from a different perspective. So, too, did Lashon Davis of Boston, Mass., and 8-year-old Eva Fast of Laguna Beach, Calif. Saddling up on their horses, the four visitors enjoyed a leisurely 30-minute horseback ride with Koko Crater Stables, which is the only one of its kind within a half-hour drive from Waikiki. “I would definitely recommend it,” says Davis after dismounting his horse Buddy. “I was nervous for the first five or 10 minutes but the scenery was simply beautiful.”
