Hawaii Is for Honeymooners

The Hawaiian Islands are the perfect retreat for the ultimate romantic honeymoon getaways.

You would be hard pressed to find someone who hasn’t dreamed of visiting Hawaii. And what’s not to like? White sand beaches, perfect year-round weather, gorgeous mountains and world class cuisine. There are a million reasons the Hawaiian Islands attract all types of visitors and especially those on their honeymoon.

A necessity for any Hawaiian trip is a visit to Volcanoes National Park. Due to the volcanoes' popularity, you might think they're on the visitor-heavy island of Oahu, but the Big Island is actually where the fire breathers call home.

In this video you'll follow videographer Daniel Merz and his wife, Cindy, who spent their honeymoon traveling to the different islands of Hawaii. They visited Volcanoes National Park via helicopter for this video. Once they made their way to Oahu they made sure to hit the highlights: cocktails on a sunset cruise, a luau at the Polynesian Cultural center and a tour of the famous Kualoa Ranch. Kualoa is often used as a set for major motion pictures and TV shows. Everything from Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii Five-O and Lost had scenes shot on the ranch.

These are only a fraction of the things you’ll see in this amazing video. So grab a pen and paper because you’ll be jotting down your Hawaii bucket list after witnessing this couple’s epic honeymoon adventure.

Get there: If you're flying into Oahu you'll be landing at Honolulu International Airport. Staying on Maui? The Kahului Airport is located on the Northern coast.
