Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival: Indie film lovers this one is for you. Created by the Broward County Film Society in 1987, FLIFF has evolved into a major player in the cinema world. Froom film legends Michael Caine and Matt Damon to Jane Lynch and Michael Moore have been in attendance at the fest. Rockfest 80s: Get ready to “Surrender” to the relentless rock royalty line up set to ignite South Florida this fall for the second annual Rockfest 80s. This year’s spectacular lineup features three Rock and Roll Hall of Famers: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cheap Trick and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, as well as Sebastian Bach, Dokken, Foghat, Lita Ford and other performers. Claudia Leitte 10th Anniversary Tour: Recognized as one of the most influential pop artists in Brazil, Claudia Leitte mixes samba and reggae with an innovative touch to develop her own original rhythm, known as Axé Music. Fort Lauderdale Margarita Festival: Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar continues this boozy festival tradition in downtown Fort Lauderdale for a second year.
