Park Here

A new, 5.2-acre urban deck park joins the ever-evolving downtown Dallas landscape, right in the heart of the Arts District. Klyde Warren Park is a green sanctuary for urban roustabouts looking for a little outdoor activity or some R&R. Catch a concert at the performance pavilion, or take furry friends for a run around the dog park. A children’s area keeps the little ones busy, and a plethora of free daily programs—like Zumba, yoga, pentanque and ballroom-dance classes—keeps the mind and body moving. Jogging and walking trails circle the park, and visitors can even check out books and magazines at the lending library on-site or play board games. A restaurant is in the works for 2013, but gourmet burger vendors like Relish and free Wi-Fi Internet keep visitors lingering.
