Dallas Boutiques for Fall Fashion

Fall fashion heats up at Dallas' coolest shops and chic boutiques.

Quench your thirst for fall fashion at these local Dallas boutiques, and expand your style repertoire with designers and pieces to keep your closet runway-ready.

Abi Ferrin

“Fashion with freedom and purpose” is the motto of Dallas clothing designer and West Village boutique owner Abi Ferrin, who creates pieces that are “made for you, not the hanger.” Ferrin’s fall collection consists of flowy silks and colorful chiffon that’ll dance in the breeze. The garmets fit and flatter all body types while also adding a bohemian-chic touch to professional wear. However, this treasured West Village retail haven is special to many Dallasites because of its mission and values: The Abi Ferrin team gives back to the community by supporting independent jewelry designers like Tribal Jewels, gem galleries such as iRocks and local artists, whose works can be found on rotation in the West Village flagship boutique. Ferrin also founded her own initiative called the Freedom Project, in which she partners with groups in Nepal, Cambodia and Peru to help give survivors of abuse, exploitation and discrimination a chance to have fulfilled lives personally and professionally by ensuring an ethical supply chain with generous wages, programs and benefits. Similarly, Dallas-based Roma Boots donates a pair of rain boots for each pair purchased. Also available at Abi Ferrin, Roma is quickly becoming a worldwide name in sleek-yet-functional (and philanthropic) footwear. 3699 McKinney Ave., Ste. 103, 214.565.0055

Jade & Clover

Slated to open in early September (although you can still shop online to get a sneak peek right now), Jade & Clover lifts up its industrial-chic garage door in the heart of Deep Ellum, revealing an eclectic mix of merchandise ranging from apparel and accessories to home goods and eco-conscious gifts. The store is divided into vignettes that feel like your interior designer friend’s picture-perfect digs: There’s a succulent bar/terrarium gallery, a kitchenette with a bar with kombucha on tap, and a section of apparel and accessories featuring designs from Texas labels like B. Stellar, BrooklynGrace, Wheron, Hari Mari, Moon River Naturals and more. Jade & Clover will debut its own collaborative clothing line later this year. 2633 Main St. (Deep Ellum)

Planet Bardot

Stroll along Knox-Henderson and look for the iron double doors of this newly remodeled Knox Street boutique. Worlds away from the typical Dallas style scene, Planet Bardot nails the balance between street chic and West Coast cool with its collection of apparel and accessories in sleek, modern cuts and clean designs that you won’t have to retire in a few months. Still, this Dallas favorite is filled with all the essentials needed for a stylish and versatile wardrobe this season, with pieces by Rag & Bone and Frame to the coolest Phillippe Model high top sneakers. The store’s neatly curated racks, organized by color, size and aesthetic, allows patrons to shop looks that fit their own personal style—and perhaps discover new designers along the way. Look for men’s apparel to arrive at Planet Bardot this fall, adding more lust-worthy items to its already-impressive inventory. 3119 Knox St., 214.614.8128

Market

This luxury lifestyle boutique is unlike any other store in Highland Park Village, offering an artfully curated selection of both timeless and trendy pieces under one (large) roof, from designers that range from the most established fashion houses to up-and-coming labels. Look out for chic prints in fall colors (in addition to luxe scented candles) from Missoni, perfectly distressed and fitted styles from Baldwin Denim and a steady supply of luxe-yet-laidback shirts and shirt dresses by L.A.-based label Frank & Eileen. When it comes to accessories, Hoorsenbuhs’ lavish collection of rose gold chains, cuffs and rings will keep your outfits locked and loaded this season with bold statement pieces, on-trend designs and quality craftsmanship.

Shoppers can satisfy their appetite for one-of-a-kind fashion and accessories in addition to their sweet tooth with a section of the store dedicated to California candy purveyor Sugarfina. While the label’s bestseller is easily its Champagne-infused gummy bears, shoppers can create customizable bento boxes that appeal to all budgets and tastes. Get these highly coveted candies—especially Sugarfina’s rosé-infused bears—before they sell out (and they will); because if there’s anything Dallas loves more than fashion and jewelry, it’s Champagne. 26B Highland Park Village, 214.945.2571

V.O.D Boutique

A worldwide favorite among cutting-edge fashionistas who aren’t afraid to experiment with new and European trends, V.O.D. Boutique is a nearly 10-year veteran of Dallas’ fashion elite anchored in the heart of Victory Park. At V.O.D., owners Jackie Bolin and Liz Thompson travel the globe in search of the most creative designers and innovative styles, delivering European sophistication straight into shoppers’ French manicured fingertips—and a breath of fresh air as they redefine the meaning of cool. This season, label R13 takes the gold medal at V.O.D. on Victory Avenue with upgrades to the beloved flannel button-up, made with Japanese cotton to add warmth as well as structure. Regardless of what the weather is like, a black Isabel Marant Étoile lambskin leather motorcycle jacket is essential: Delicate, feminine and effortlessly chic, you won’t want to go anywhere this season without it. 2418 Victory Park Lane, 214.754.0644
