Fort Worth Zoo

The Fort Worth Zoo is the oldest zoo in Texas—and one of the greatest. Founded in 1909 with one lion, two bear cubs, an alligator, a coyote, a peacock and a few rabbits, it houses 540 different species today. Don’t miss "Texas Wild!"—an eight-acre journey through various regional landscapes of the Lone Star State.
