'Family Guy' Pop-Up Bar Comes to Dallas

The Whippersnapper becomes The Drunken Clam for a month.

Don't expect to see Peter Griffin or Quagmire downing drinks, but for a month, local Dallas establishment The Whippersnapper transforms into The Drunken Clam, the noted "Family Guy" suds palace.

Through Feb. 2, the exterior and interior of The Whip—as it's known by locals and owned by This & That Concepts—will resemble that of the televison show's bar; once the pop-up shuts down, The Whip will close for remodeling and will reopen in time for its third anniversary.

“Whether you’re a fan of the show or not, we think you’ll enjoy dropping by and checking out the pop-up bar along with drink specials, photo opportunities and more," said This & That co-owner Brandon Hays in a press release.

Among the goodies patrons will enjoy are a "Family Guy"-themed cocktail menu, DJs and a number of surprises to take place throughout the month.
