Feast of the Seven Fishes @ Spiaggia: Every culture has its traditions for the holiday season. In southern Italy, it’s feast of the seven fishes, a multi-course meal straight from the sea. Spiaggia chefs Tony Mantuano and Joe Flamm will bring forth this revered family meal based on their own Italian grandmothers’ recipes. Included on the menu will be steelhead tartar, fluke crudo and much more, including a dessert round full of authentic Italian Christmas cookies. Southern Accents & The Fortunate Sons @ House of Blues: The venerable music club takes cover tonight with two tribute acts—headlining is the ultimate Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers experience, Southern Accents, and opening is Fortunate Sons, in homage to Credence Clearwater Revival.
