Located in what was the original branch of the U.S. Mint, Mint Museum Randolph opened in 1936 in Charlotte's Eastover neighborhood as the state's first art museum. Today, in a beautiful park setting, intimate galleries invite visitors to engage with the art of the ancient Americas as well as ceramic, decorative arts, fashion, European and African art and many other collections. Resources include a reference library with more than 18,000 volumes, a theater for lectures and performances and a museum shop. Current exhibits at the Randolph location include: "African-Print Fashion Now!" until Apr. 28, 2019. $6-$15. Open W, 11 am-9 pm; Th-Sa, 11 am-6 pm; Su, 1-5 pm.
