Whether you're looking for adventure or just a picnic in the park, Charleston County Parks has a place for you. Each park provides a unique feel and a chance to experience the great outdoors in different ways such as enjoying a beach day at Isle of Palms County Park, challenging yourself on the climbing wall at James Island County Park, or looking for wildlife at the Caw Caw Interpretive Center. If you want to enhance your own outdoor skills, a stand-up paddleboarding class or one of our races could be more your speed. Any one of our three waterparks are also a great way to beat the heat. The Lowcountry is one of the most diverse ecosystems on the east coast, and we're here to help you explore it!
