These four facilities, collectively, offer over 40 miles of trails.
The agency also operates three family waterparks – Whirlin' Waters, Splash Zone and Splash Island; two beachfront parks – Kiawah Beachwalker Park and Isle of Palms County Park; a 125-site campground and vacation cottages on James Island; the Cooper River Marina, with 165 deep-water boat slips; water access via 19 boat landings; and two fishing piers – the Mount Pleasant Pier and the Folly Beach Fishing Pier.
CCPRC offers a wide variety of water-based programs such as kayaking, canoeing, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, crabbing, seining, and other interpretive programs. Other outdoor activities include hiking, biking, trail riding, gardening, and birding.
