One of Brisbane’s treasures, Roma Street Parkland is a breathtaking oasis in the heart of the city. The largest subtropical parkland in an urban environment in the world, its diverse themed gardens reflect the variety of the Australian landscape. Stroll past pandanus-studded headlands, wander through lush rainforest, admire the spiky beauty of arid lands or indulge your senses in the colourful Spectacle Garden. The Parkland also features Australia’s largest outdoor collection of public art. Admission is free, and free guided tours operate daily at 10 am and 2 pm (except on Good Friday and Christmas Day). Special tours can be arranged for groups. Open daily.
