Across Harvard’s campus and over the Somerville line, longtime Boston chef Peter Ungár (of The Dining Alternative, and the former AAA Five Diamond awarded Aujourd’hui) opens his first restaurant, Tasting Counter. Building on the trending tasting menu concept, Ungár serves nine courses nightly, created per the season and his whim, to diners seated around the open kitchen. Tu-Sa 8-10 pm.
