Museum of African American History

New England’s largest African-American history museum is dedicated to the preservation, conservation and accurate interpretation of the contributions of African Americans. Exhibits offer the stories of leaders, activists and citizens of this region who have impacted history from the Colonial period through the 19th century. Exhibits this month: "Picturing Frederick Douglass: The Most Photographed American of the 19th Century," through December 2017. Open M-Sa 10 am-4 pm. Admission by donation.
