Minute Man National Historical Park

Spanning Lexington, Concord and Lincoln, this historic park is where the earliest battles leading to the American Revolution played out. Follow the path of patriots along rustic stone walls and through period houses, taverns and pastures. On the original Battle Road, stop at North Bridge, where the “shot heard ‘round the world” was fired. Special events: Revolutionary Dogs: Paws for the Cause, Oct. 2 and 16; full schedule here. Grounds open sunrise to sunset. Visitor centers open daily 9 am-5 pm.
