The Freedom Trail

Focused on the American Revolution, from the Colonial period to the War of 1812, this 2.5-mile, red-painted and bricked path connects 16 historic sites, each of which has its own story. Visitors can walk the trail at any hour, but accessibility to each site varies, with most open daily 9 am-4/4:30 pm. Admission is free or with a minimal suggested donation. The combination Freedom Trail Ticket includes admission to the trail’s three paying sites (Old State House, Old South Meeting House, and Paul Revere House): $16.50, $2 ages 18 and under, and can be used over multiple days.
