The Ritter Sport bar is famous the world over, but here in Germany it comes in a zillion varieties, including honey and salted almonds, cookies and cream, and Jamaican rum. Ritter Sport Bunte Schokowelt, the company store located by Gendarmenmarkt, is like a three-storied amusement park designed for visitors to discover, create, and enjoy everything chocolate. At the workshop, kids and adults learn about the process of chocolate production, right down to the designing of the brand's iconic colorful and quadratic packaging. An interactive exhibition engages all five senses in the history of the cacao-based confection, while in the shop you can mix and match chocolate and fillings for that perfect and personalized creation. When you've developed the ideal pairing, hit the café, where you can have your favorite bar melted in a cup for an otherworldly hot chocolate experience.
