Katie DeStefano's Curiosity Shop

A Baltimore interior designer stocks her Harbor East boutique with new finds and old favorites.

Design maven Katie DeStefano’s eclectic shop in Harbor East may trigger a Disney mermaid’s underwater ballad: “Gadgets and gizmos aplenty, whosits and whatsits galore—want thingamabobs?” Find more than 20 at Curiosity, which recently moved from Federal Hill into the buzz of the waterfront retail district. DeStefano’s store complements her interior design business, providing her clients with final touches from this trove of “intriguing objects for the home.” Nesters shop creature comforts here like vintage barware, bone frames and Random House cookbooks as well as light fixtures out of Baltimore atelier McLain Wiesand across the harbor.
