Let There Be Light

Jordan Faye Contemporary occupies a 125-year-old building that was once a library, its soaring Victorian windows shedding natural light on the often funky art. Owner Jordan Faye Block’s declared mission? To create a space for emerging artists (a current stable of 15) and art enthusiasts. Exhibitions range from large-scale paintings to sculptures constructed of wire and old toys. Sketches, Studies and Scribbles, a group show featuring the work of local artists like David Page and Janna Rice, opens August 11.
