Things to Do in Atlanta in May 2018

From a Broadway show to South's leading food fests, these are the events people are talking about now.

The wait is over for Broadway in Atlanta fans: the hip-hop phenomenon by Lin-Manuel Miranda finally arrive at The Fox Theatre in Midtown this month. With a score of show tunes that blends music styles like jazz, blues, rap, and R&B, the musical is a modern retelling of the powerful story of America's founding father Alexander Hamilton. An immigrant from the West Indies, Hamilton later became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. May 22-June 10
