Atlanta in 75 Minutes

If you’ve only got time to see one thing in Downtown Atlanta, it should be Centennial Olympic Park, a 21-acre site that buzzes with activities—and crowds—year-round. During the summer months, kids frolic in the Fountain of Rings, which blasts jets of water into the air choreographed to music; in winter months, the park is turned into a winter wonderland complete with an holiday decorations and an outdoor ice-skating rink; and all year long there’s a full calendar of festivals, concerts and film screenings. The park also features easy access to some of Atlanta’s biggest attractions (Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN Center, Georgia Dome and Philips Arena, to name a few), plus a kids’ playground, commemorative bricks from the 1996 Olympic Games, benches, fountains and loads of sweet skyline views.
