Melbourne Theatre Company's 'Jasper Jones'

The Melbourne Theatre Company is bringing to life the award-winning novel, “Jasper Jones”. Often described as Australia’s “To Kill a Mockingbird”, Craig Silvey’s novel is a story about outsiders and what it really means to be a hero. Late one summer night in 1965, young Charlie is startled by fierce rapping on the window of his sleep-out. It’s Jasper Jones, the baddest kid in the wheatbelt town of Corrigan. Steer clear of him, parents say, he’s nothing but trouble.

Melbourne Spring Fashion Week

The City of Melbourne’s Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW) features a number of events including one-off runway shows held over four evenings at the iconic Melbourne Town Hall. There are also free daily runway shows at the Hub at City Square, the home of MSFW. Other highlights include activations from some of Australia’s biggest fashion and beauty brands, seminars and workshops as well as highlights from the men’s fashion program.
