San Antonio Zoo

The San Antonio Zoo is home to more than 3,500 animals, representing 600 species. Legions of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians inhabit these grounds in exhibits like Africa Live, Butterflies, Hixon Bird House and more! Ride the Eagle Miniature Train and bounce from one attraction to the next, before adventuring about in Brackenridge Park. The zoo also keeps a keen eye on conservation efforts, and participates in field study, financial support of conservation projects, and educational programming.
