Halibut Point State Park

A rocky shoreline against the deep blue Atlantic is quintessential Cape Ann. In this spot where granite was once quarried you can hike on paths and massive boulders down to the edge of the sea, explore tidal pools, and enjoy a picnic with a spectacular view. The visitors center is located inside a former WWII fire tower. The panorama from the top of the tower extends all the way to Maine.
