Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home

Built by Lincoln’s oldest son Robert after his father’s assassination, Hildene served as the homestead for three generations of Lincoln descendants who lived out their days here until 1975. There’s a lot to cover across 400 acres, including family artifacts like one of only three existing Lincoln hats and an authenticated Lincoln Bible, not to mention the tremendous estate gardens.
