Southbank Riverwalk

The perfect place to sit back and enjoy the view of the beautiful St. Johns River. The 1/4-mile wooden zigzag boardwalk is used by joggers, tourists and locals alike to stroll, jog or sit on the benches along the way. Friendship Fountain is the nation’s largest self-contained fountain; it is illuminated by 265 colorful lights each night. Military memorials, a small museum dedicated to the city’s history, the Museum of Science and History of Jacksonville and the Riverwalk make up the complex.
